609ada9691 feat(rmmd): verify FEAT_MEC present before calling plat hoook
Some platforms do not support FEAT_MEC. Hence, they do not provide
an interface to update the update of the key corresponding to a
MECID.

This patch adds a condition in order to verify FEAT_MEC is present
before calling the corresponding platform hook, thus preventing it
from being called when the platform does not support the feature.

f801fdc22e feat(rmmd): add RMM_MECID_KEY_UPDATE call
With this addition, TF-A now has an SMC call to handle the
update of MEC keys associated to MECIDs.

The behavior of this newly added call is empty for now until an
implementation for the MPE (Memory Protection Engine) driver is
available. Only parameter sanitization has been implemented.

6a88ec8b30 feat(rmmd): el3 token sign during attestation
Add required SMCs by RMM to push attestation signing requests to EL3
and get responses. EL3 may then choose to push these requests to a HES
as suitable for a platform. This patch also supports the new
RMM_EL3_FEATURES interface, that RMM can use to query for support for
HES based signing. The new interface exposes a feature register with
different bits defining different discoverable features. This new
interface is available starting the 0.4 version of the RMM-EL3
interface, causing the version to bump up. This patch also adds a
platform port for FVP that implements the platform hooks required to
enable the new SMCs, but it does not push to a HES and instead copies a
zeroed buffer in EL3.

42cf602662 refactor(rmmd): plat token requests in pieces
Until now, the attestation token size was limited by the size of the
shared buffer between RMM and TF-A. With this change, RMM can now
request the token in pieces, so they fit in the shared buffer. A new
output parameter was added to the SMC call, which will return (along
with the size of bytes copied into the buffer) the number of bytes
of the token that remain to be retrieved.

TF-A will keep an offset variable that will indicate the position in
the token where the next call will retrieve bytes from. This offset
will be increased on every call by adding the number number of bytes
copied. If the received hash size is not 0, TF-A will reset the
offset to 0 and copy from that position on.

The SMC call will now return at most the size of the shared buffer
in bytes on every call. Therefore, from now on, multiple SMC calls
may be needed to be issued if the token size exceeds the shared
buffer size.

a03dafe516 feat(bl): add plat handler for image loading
In case of load error, platform may need to try another instance, either
from another storage, or from the same storage in case of PSA FWU. On
MTD devices such as NAND, it is required to define backup partitions.
A new function plat_setup_try_img_ops() should be called by platform
code to register handlers (plat_try_images_ops) to manage loading
other images.

ae770fedf4 feat(console): introduce EARLY_CONSOLE
This is a generic porting of what was done on ST platforms with flag
STM32MP_EARLY_CONSOLE. It creates the flag and the prototype for
plat_setup_early_console(). This function depends on platform
implementation. This function call is added at the beginning of each BL
image early setup function.
The patch also introduce an extra log macro: EARLY_ERROR. This can
replace ERROR macro in code that will only be executed before the
default console is enabled, and will do nothing when the EARLY_CONSOLE
is not enabled. This can then save some space in memory.

24a4a0a5ec fix(gic600): workaround for Part 1 of GIC600 erratum 2384374
GIC600 erratum 2384374 is a Category B erratum. Part 1 is fixed
in this patch, and the Part 1 failure mode is described as
'If the packet to be sent is a SET packet, then a higher priority SET
may not be sent when it should be until an unblocking event occurs.'

This is handled by calling gicv3_apply_errata_wa_2384374() in the
ehf_deactivate_priority() path, so that when EHF restores the priority
to the original priority, the interrupt packet buffered
in the GIC can be sent.

gicv3_apply_errata_wa_2384374() is the workaround for
the Part 2 of erratum 2384374 which flush packets from the GIC buffer
and is being used in this patch.

e60c18471f fix(smccc): ensure that mpidr passed through SMC is valid

currently tested at random places in SMC call path.
To make the mpidr validation check consistent across SMC calls, do

Following discussions in the reviews of the patch that introduced

A new function crypto_mod_convert_pk() will either call
crypto_lib_desc.convert_pk() if it is defined, or do the same

42d4d3baac refactor(build): distinguish BL2 as TF-A entry point and BL2 running at EL3
BL2_AT_EL3 is an overloaded macro which has two uses:
	1. When BL2 is entry point into TF-A(no BL1)
	2. When BL2 is running at EL3 exception level
These two scenarios are not exactly same even though first implicitly
means second to be true. To distinguish between these two use cases we
introduce new macros.
BL2_AT_EL3 is renamed to RESET_TO_BL2 to better convey both 1. and 2.
Additional macro BL2_RUNS_AT_EL3 is added to cover all scenarious where
BL2 runs at EL3 (including four world systems).

BREAKING CHANGE: BL2_AT_EL3 renamed to RESET_TO_BL2 across the
repository.

a97bfa5ff1 feat(rme): set DRAM information in Boot Manifest platform data
This patch adds support for setting configuration of DRAM banks
for FVP model in RMM-EL3 Boot Manifest structure.
Structure 'rmm_manifest' is extended with 'plat_dram' structure
which contains information about platform's DRAM layout:
- number of DRAM banks;
- pointer to 'dram_bank[]' array;
- check sum: two's complement 64-bit value of the sum of
data in 'plat_dram' and 'dram_bank[] array.
Each 'dram_bank' structure holds information about DRAM
bank base address and its size. This values must be aligned
to 4KB page size.
The patch increases Boot Manifest minor version to 2 and
removes 'typedef rmm_manifest_t' as per

replaces the former ad-hoc platform interfaces i.e.
bl1_plat_set_bl2_hash, bl2_plat_get_hash.

As a result of this change the BL1 of Arm FVP platform now do the
measurements and recordings of below images:
1. FW_CONFIG
2. TB_FW_CONFIG
3. BL2

eab78e9ba4 refactor(measured_boot): remove passing of BL2 hash via device tree
Subsequent patches will provide a solution to do the BL2 hash measurement
and recording in BL1 itself, hence in preparation to adopt that solution
remove the logic of passing BL2 hash measurement to BL2 component
via TB_FW config.

140d9cb3e7 refactor(measured boot): move image measurement to generic layer
Right now, the assumption is that the platform post-load hook takes
care of measuring the image that just got loaded. This is how it's
implemented on FVP.

This patch moves the measurement into the generic code
instead. load_auth_image() now calls plat_mboot_measure_image(),
which is a new platform interface introduced in this patch to measure
an image. This is called just after authenticating the image.

Implement plat_mboot_measure_image() for the Arm FVP platform. The code
is copied straight from the post-load hook.

As a result, the FVP specific implementation of
arm_bl2_plat_handle_post_image_load() is no longer needed. We can go
back to using the Arm generic implementation of it.

47bf3ac31e feat(measured boot): move init and teardown functions to platform layer
Right now, the measured boot driver is strongly coupled with the TCG
event log driver. It would not be possible to push the measurements
somewhere else, for instance to a physical TPM.

To enable this latter use case, turn the driver's init and teardown
functions into platform hooks. Call them bl2_plat_mboot_init()/finish().
This allows each platform to implement them appropriately, depending on
the type of measured boot backend they use. For example, on a platform
with a physical TPM, the plat_mboot_init() hook would startup the TPM
and setup it underlying bus (e.g. SPI).

Move the current implementation of the init and teardown function to the
FVP platform layer.

Finally move the conditional compilation logic (#if MEASURED_BOOT) out
of bl2_main() to improve its readability. Provide a dummy implementation
in the case measured boot is not included in the build.

30e8fa7e77 refactor(plat/ea_handler): Use default ea handler implementation for panic
Put default ea handler implementation into function plat_default_ea_handler()
which just print verbose information and panic, so it can be called also
from overwritten / weak function plat_ea_handler() implementation.

Replace every custom implementation of printing verbose error message of
external aborts in custom plat_ea_handler() functions by a common
implementation from plat_default_ea_handler() function.

831b0e9824 Don't return error information from console_flush
And from crash_console_flush.

We ignore the error information return by console_flush in _every_
place where we call it, and casting the return type to void does not
work around the MISRA violation that this causes. Instead, we collect
the error information from the driver (to avoid changing that API), and
don't return it to the caller.

6f0a2f04ab SMCCC: Introduce function to check SMCCC function availability
Currently, 'SMCCC_ARCH_FEATURES' SMC call handler unconditionally
returns 'SMC_OK' for 'SMCCC_ARCH_SOC_ID' function. This seems to
be not correct for the platform which doesn't implement soc-id
functionality i.e. functions to retrieve both soc-version and
soc-revision.
Hence introduced a platform function which will check whether SMCCC
feature is available for the platform.

Also, updated porting guide for the newly added platform function.

23d5ba86bd SPMD: extract SPMC DTB header size from SPMD
Currently BL2 passes TOS_FW_CONFIG address and size through registers to
BL31. This corresponds to SPMC manifest load address and size. The SPMC
manifest is mapped in BL31 by dynamic mapping. This patch removes BL2
changes from generic code (which were enclosed by SPD=spmd) and retrieves
SPMC manifest size directly from within SPMD. The SPMC manifest load
address is still passed through a register by generic code.

2be57b8658 TBB: Add an IO abstraction layer to load encrypted firmwares
TBBR spec advocates for optional encryption of firmwares (see optional
requirement: R060_TBBR_FUNCTION). So add an IO abstaction layer to
support firmware decryption that can be stacked above any underlying IO/
packaging layer like FIP etc. It aims to provide a framework to load any
encrypted IO payload.

Also, add plat_get_enc_key_info() to be implemented in a platform
specific manner as handling of encryption key may vary from one platform
to another.
