For the first time since at least the Allwinner A10 SoCs, the D1 (and
related cores) use a new pincontroller MMIO register layout, so we
cannot use our hardcoded, fixed offsets anymore.
Ideally this would all be handled by devicetree and DM drivers, but for
the DT-less SPL we still need the legacy interfaces.
Add a new Kconfig symbol to differenciate between the two generations of
pincontrollers, and just use that to just switch some basic symbols.
The rest is already abstracted enough, so works out of the box.

U-Boot's generic GPIO_EXTRA_HEADER is a convenience symbol to allow code
to more easily include platform specific GPIO headers. This should not
be needed in a DM world anymore, since the generic GPIO framework
handles that nicely.
For Allwinner boards we still need to deal with non-DM GPIO in the SPL,
but this should become the exception, not the rule.
Make this more obvious by removing the definition of GPIO_EXTRA_HEADER,
and just force every legacy user of platform specific GPIO to include
the new sunxi_gpio.h header explicitly. Everyone doing so should feel
ashamed and should find a way to avoid it from now on.

So far every Allwinner SoC used the same basic pincontroller/GPIO
register frame, and just differed by the number of implemented banks and
pins, plus some special functionality from time to time. However the D1
and successors use a slightly different pinctrl register layout.
Use that opportunity to drop "struct sunxi_gpio", that described that
MMIO frame in a C struct. That approach is somewhat frowned upon in the
Linux world and rarely used there, though still popular with U-Boot.
Switching from a C struct to a "base address plus offset" approach allows
to switch between the two models more dynamically, without reverting to
preprocessor macros and #ifdef's.
Model the pinctrl MMIO register frame in the usual "base address +
offset" way, and replace a hard-to-parse CPP macro with a more readable
static function.
All the users get converted over. There are no functional changes at
this point, it just prepares the stages for the D1 and friends.

So far we were open-coding the pincontroller's GPIO output/input access
in each function using that.
Provide functions that wrap that nicely, and follow the existing pattern
(set/get_{bank,}), so users don't need to know about the internals, and
we can abstract the new D1 pinctrl more easily.

Move the existing sunxi-specific low level pinctrl routines from
arch/arm/mach-sunxi into the existing GPIO code under drivers/gpio, so
that the common code can be shared outside of arch/arm.
This also takes the opportunity to move some definitions from our
header file into the driver C file, as they are private to the driver
and are not needed elsewhere.

Create a do-nothing driver for each sunxi pin controller variant.
Since only one driver can automatically bind to a DT node, since the
GPIO driver already requires a manual binding process, and since the
pinctrl driver needs access to some of the same information, refactor
the GPIO driver to be bound by the pinctrl driver. This commit should
cause no functional change.

Since the beginning, all banks have had space for 32 pins, even when
not all pins were implemented. Let's use a single constant for the GPIO
bank size here, like the GPIO driver is already doing.

As part of migrating to DM_GPIO and DM_PINCTRL, eventually we will
remove the asm/arch/gpio.h header. In preparation, clean up the various
files that include it.
Some files did not contain any GPIO code at all, so this header was
completely unused.
A few files contained only legacy platform-specific GPIO code for
setting up pin muxes. They were left unchanged, as that code will be
completely removed by the DM_PINCTRL migration.
The remaining files contain some combination of DM_GPIO and legacy GPIO
code. For those, switch to including asm/gpio.h (if it wasn't included
already). Right now, this header provides both sets of functions,
because ARCH_SUNXI selects GPIO_EXTRA_HEADER. This will still be the
right header to include once the DM_GPIO migration is complete and
GPIO_EXTRA_HEADER is no longer needed.

The only caller of this function was the MMC pinmux code, which used it
to parse a string given from a Kconfig symbol. As the Kconfig symbol has
been converted to a Boolean, this function is no longer needed.

We use 'priv' for private data but often use 'platdata' for platform data.
We can't really use 'pdata' since that is ambiguous (it could mean private
or platform data).
Rename some of the latter variables to end with 'plat' for consistency.

dev_read_addr_ptr(), which is safe to CONFIG_OF_LIVE.
One curious part is an error check like follows in
drivers/watchdog/omap_wdt.c:

return -EINVAL;
devfdt_get_addr() returns FDT_ADDR_T_NONE (i.e. -1) on error.
So, this code does not catch any error in DT parsing.
dev_read_addr_ptr() returns NULL on error, so this error check
will work.

At present if CONFIG_SPL_GPIO_SUPPORT is enabled then the GPIO uclass
is included in SPL/TPL without any control for boards. Some boards may
want to disable this to reduce code size where GPIOs are not needed in
SPL or TPL.
Add a new Kconfig option to permit this. Default it to 'y' so that
existing boards work correctly.
Change existing uses of CONFIG_DM_GPIO to CONFIG_IS_ENABLED(DM_GPIO) to
preserve the current behaviour. Also update the 74x164 GPIO driver since
it cannot build with SPL.
This allows us to remove the hacks in config_uncmd_spl.h and
Makefile.uncmd_spl (eventually those files should be removed).

it comes to normal GPIO operation.

When U-Boot started using SPDX tags we were among the early adopters and
there weren't a lot of other examples to borrow from. So we picked the
area of the file that usually had a full license text and replaced it
with an appropriate SPDX-License-Identifier: entry. Since then, the
Linux Kernel has adopted SPDX tags and they place it as the very first
line in a file (except where shebangs are used, then it's second line)
and with slightly different comment styles than us.
In part due to community overlap, in part due to better tag visibility
and in part for other minor reasons, switch over to that style.
This commit changes all instances where we have a single declared
license in the tag as both the before and after are identical in tag
contents. There's also a few places where I found we did not have a tag
and have introduced one.

The sunxi GPIO driver is missing some compatible strings for recent
SoCs. While most of the sunxi GPIO code seems to not rely on this (and
so works anyway), the sunxi_name_to_gpio() function does and fails at
the moment (for instance when resolving the MMC CD pin name).
Add the compatible strings for the A64 and V3s, which were missing
from the list. This now covers all pinctrl nodes in our own DTs.

Move the main part of the GPIO request function into a separate function
so that it can be used by the live tree function when added. Update the
xlate method to use a node reference.
Update all GPIO drivers to handle the modified xlate() method.

These support the flat device tree. We want to use the dev_read_..()
prefix for functions that support both flat tree and live tree. So rename
the existing functions to avoid confusion.
In the end we will have:
1. dev_read_addr...() - works on devices, supports flat/live tree
2. devfdt_get_addr...() - current functions, flat tree only
3. of_get_address() etc. - new functions, live tree only
All drivers will be written to use 1. That function will in turn call
either 2 or 3 depending on whether the flat or live tree is in use.
Note this involves changing some dead code - the imx_lpi2c.c file.

The PIO on the R40 SoC is mostly compatible with the A20.
Only a few pin functions for mmc2 were added to the PC
pingroup, to support 8 bit eMMCs.

At present devices use a simple integer offset to record the device tree
node associated with the device. In preparation for supporting a live
device tree, which uses a node pointer instead, refactor existing code to
access this field through an inline function.

sunxi uses a 2 cell phandle for gpio bindings. Also there are no
seperate nodes for each pin bank.
Add a custom .xlate function to map gpio phandles to the correct
pin bank device. This fixes gpio_request_by_name usage.

The kernel has different compatible strings for the pio block
because the pin-muxing is different on all the different SoCs,
but sunxi_gpio.c only support the basic gpio functionality, which
is identical everywhere. Add the missing compatible strings for
various SoC models.

sun6i and later have a couple of io-blocks which are shared between the
main CPU core and the "R" cpu which is small embedded cpu which can be
active while the main system is suspended.
These gpio banks sit at a different mmio address then the normal banks,
and have a separate devicetree node and compatible, this adds support for
these banks to the sunxi-gpio code when built with device-model support.

Now that all sunxi boards are using driver-model for gpio (*), we can remove
the non driver-model support from the axp gpio code, and the glue to call
into the axp gpio code from the sunxi_gpio non driver-model code.
*) For the regular u-boot build, SPL still uses non driver-model gpio for
now, but the SPL never uses axp gpios support and we were already not building
axp-gpio support for the SPL.

Move the axp-gpio code out of the drivers/power/axp*.c code, and into
a new separate axpi-gpio driver.
This change drops supports for the gpio3 pin on the axp209, as that requires
special handling, and no boards are using it.
Besides cleaning things up by moving the code to a separate driver, as
a bonus this change also adds support for the (non vusb) gpio pins on the
axp221 and the gpio pins on the axp152.
The new axp-gpio driver gets its own Kconfig option, and is only enabled
on boards which need it. Besides that it only gets enabled in the regular
u-boot build and not for the SPL as we never need it in the SPL.

Change the axp_gpio_foo function prototypes to match the gpio uclass op
prototypes, this is a preparation patch for moving the axp gpio code to
a separate driver-model gpio driver.
Note that the ugly calls with a NULL udev pointer in drivers/gpio/sunxi_gpio.c
this adds are removed in a later patch.
